ITANAGAR: At least 90 more people recovered from coronavirus infection in Arunachal Pradesh over the past 24 hours, pushing the recovery tally to 17,363.
A total of 37 recoveries were reported from Itanagar Capital Complex, followed by Changlang five, Lower Dibang Dibang Valley 15, Lower Subansiri and West Kameng two each, Tirap six, East Siang nine, Papumpare five, Lohit three, and Leparada, West Siang, Dibang Valley, Namsai, Tawang and Upper Subansiri districts reported one each respectively.
The recovery rate in the state stood at 91.59 per cent.
Arunachal Pradesh emerged as the state with the best Covid recovery rate in the country, touching nearly 99.56%, in February this year.
On the other hand, 220 more people tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the tally in the state to 18,958.
The positivity rate now stands at 8.10 per cent.
Of the new positive cases, 88 were reported from the Itanagar Capital Complex, 22 from Lower Dibang Valley, 20 from West Kameng, 17 from East Siang, 13 from Lower Subansiri, 11 from Papumpare, nine from Lohit, seven from Changlang, six each from Tirap and Anjaw, five from Namsai, four from Leparada, three each from Upper Siang, East Kameng and Tawang, two from West Siang, and one from Longding district.
The state currently has 1536 active COVID- 19 cases, while the death toll remained unchanged at 59.

Altogether 4,51,941 samples have been tested in the state so far, including 3747 yesterday.
On the other hand, a total of 61,961 people have been fully inoculated in the state so far.
