Children from Northeast region of India are reminding elders of their duties during lockdown and the latest one is that of a little girl from Arunachal Pradesh, who has requested people to stay indoors and follow the rules amid the ongoing lockdown period.
“My dad is a policeman. He stay away from me to help you. Can you please stay at home to help him?” read her message. The “Arunachal girl”, as she is being called, is now making headlines for her much-needed reminder just at the right hour.
“Our #LittleCoronaWarriors across Arunachal makes fervent appeal to everyone to #StayHomeStaySafe. Let not the hardwork of our policemen and health workers go waste. @PMOIndia @ArunachalCMO @MoHFW_INDIA,” tweeted Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
Soon, Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju also took note of the message and retweeted it. "A sweet little girl, daughter of a Policeman in Arunachal Pradesh with an emotional yet powerful message. It may be mentioned here that there have been several incidents of violation of rules during the lockdown in various parts of the country. While some have been arrested, others have been baton charged.
This simple message of this small kid has sent the message loud and clear that people should restrict themselves to their homes and give the policemen the ease to do their duties.

The Police Department has sent out several messages to the public. One of the many is the "Stay Home" message that has been repeated almost every single day to remind the citizens of their simple duty to stick to their homes instead of roaming around and increasing the chances of getting infected.
"Break the Chain, Stay Home, Save Mankind" is one such message sent out by Assam Police to keep people indoors amid the rising cases of the pandemic.
It needs mention here that a stronger police force has been deployed everywhere to monitor limited movement. Directions have been given to punish the violators of lockdown.

The lockdown that ends on April 15 has become a pain for both the public and the administration. While authorities are trying their best to keep people at homes, some people are coming out in search of essentials or for some other purpose.
Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus (or COVID-19) cases in India has soared to 2,032 cases of the virus. The death toll, meanwhile, has risen to 58. 148 people have recovered so far. 34 new Coronavirus positive cases have been reported in India.
The number of cases of the new coronavirus or COVID-19 across the world have risen to 937,167, with 47,267 cases reported so far. 195,143 people have recovered so far. Of the 694,757 cases which are active, 35,772 (or 5%) are said to be in critical condition.
