ARUNACHAL PRADESH: ADISU CALLS ON TO CM ON EARLY FUNCTIONALIZATION OF ARUNACHAL UNIVERSITY

The Adi Students Union (AdiSU) led by its President, Nang Gao along with General Secretary, Jenny Bunyi, Education Secretary, Job Jamoh, IPR Secretary, Kaling Tayeng and others called on to Chief Minister Pema Khandu to seek government’s time-bound attention upon early functionalization of Arunachal University which is to come up here at Pasighat but the infrastructural developments were taking time.

Urging Chief Minister to expedite the infrastructural development of the Arunachal University, AdiSU President, Nang Gao said that, several hundred students would have benefitted out the new university as lone university at present, RGU is too far for central and eastern Arunachal and are always rush with students from all corners throngs in there.

On his part, Chief Minister, Pema Khandu assured full attention and informed that the state government is taking all step to make the university functional early. The amount of Rs. 5 crores which was sanctioned for construction of boundary wall of the university has already been completed and additional funds of Rs. 10 cores and Rs. 15 crores were announced during the annual budget of 2017 and 2018 respectively for construction of other infrastructural development of the university.

Team AdiSU was accompanied by Alo Libang, Yingkiong MLA cum Minister, Health & Family Welfare, Pachayati Raj, and Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
