A vaccination of team of East Siang District in Arunachal Pradesh has been garnering praises on social media platforms for defying all odds to make the district fully vaccinated.

ITANAGAR: A vaccination of team of East Siang District in Arunachal Pradesh has been garnering praises on social media platforms for defying all odds to make the district fully vaccinated.

The team made their way to remote villages of the district braving thick fog and crossing rivers. In the pictures circulating on various platforms, the team can be also be seen walking over muddy roads.

The Deputy Commissioner of the district lauded the effort of the team. " Braving the thick fog and swollen Taro Tamak River, vaccination team of the District reached Mer-Gadum villages of Namsing Circle, Mebo, striving to achieve cent percent vaccination...", said the DC.

In a bid to strengthen the state’s war against COVID-19, the Arunachal Pradesh government has been taking rigorous measures to seed up vaccination and build up oxygen availability in the state for the treatment of COVID-19 patients in the state.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu had also directed all the deputy commissioners to ramp up COVID-19 vaccination drive in the state in order to achieve 100 percent vaccination of all 18 years and above citizens within the next three months.
