WEST SIANG: A delegation of two army officers from Bangladesh visited the Indian Army’s Nodal Centre at Bogdo village in Aalo, West Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh from February 3 to 6.
"The Indian army welcomed the Bangladesh delegation and briefed in detail on the White Water Rafting Node, including node establishment, training, courses and other issues relating to the functioning of the Node," said Guwahati-based defence PRO Lt Col P Khongsai said.
He further stated that the visit proved to be fruitful for the delegation as they were given exposure to the Aqua node and were pleased with the support provided by the Indian Army.

"The visit proved fruitful for the delegation as they were given exposure to the Aqua node and were satisfied with the support extended by the Indian Army which will make it easier for them to set up a similar adventure node in their country," Khongsai added.
The visit highlights the friendly relationships between the two countries and will go a long way in the planning of joint adventure activities in the future, he added.
