Bio-Safety Level-3 Research Laboratory inaugurated in TRIHMS, Arunachal

With the inauguration of this advanced lab, many research activities on various viruses and bacterias can be carried out within the state itself.

As per the Director of TRIHMS, Dr. Moji Jini, a multi-drug resistant tuberculosis in the state has been detected in the past.

Therefore, in order to find out this variant of TB, the BSL-3 lab has been established by the government has been funded by the government of India to further research into the same.
