China claims Arunachal Pradesh to be its south Tibet region, denies Chinese PLA abducted Indian villagers

China has evoked yet another controversy by claiming Arunachal Pradesh to be China’s South Tibet region. China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson on Monday tweeted “China has never recognized so-called "Arunachal Pradesh," which is China's south Tibet region, and we have no details to release yet about question on Indian army sending a message to PLA about five missing Indians in the region: Chinese FM spokesperson Zhao Lijian.”

Zhao Lijian is a Chinese politician and the current deputy director of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Information Department. He is the 31st spokesperson since the position was established in 1983.He joined the Foreign Service in 1996 and has served primarily in Asia. Zhao gained notoriety during his time serving in Pakistan for his outspoken use of Twitter, a social network website that is blocked within China. He has been identified as a prominent leader of the new generation of "China's 'Wolf Warrior' Diplomats."
