Flybig broadens its services in Northeast, connects 3 states in a short period

GUWAHATI: Flybig airlines is all set to start its scheduled flights between Agartala and Dibrugarh from June 25 under the Government of India’s Regional Connectivity Scheme (UDAN-RCS).
The Indore-based airlines has been gradually widening their operations in the Northeastern states. It has connected three states including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura in a very short period.
Reportedly, flybig is also starting its direct flight on Agartala - Guwahati route with a morning departure from Guwahati and a return flight from Agartala in the evening.

The Agartala - Dibrugarh - Agartala flights will operate with a frequency of four flights per week.
According to reports, it will operate thrice a week i.e. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday till July
On Tuesday, the Arunachal Pradesh government decided to connect fixed-wing air travel services with Pasighat and Tezu by collaborating with Flybig.
The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pema Khandu with officials of Flybig airlines. The Chief Minister informed that some of the remote tourist destinations in the state will be connected with fixed-wing air travel services.
This is not the first time when Flybig airlines have worked with the state government to bring Arunachal closer to tourists and travelers. Earlier in May, Flybig airlines started its first direct flight service between Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh and Guwahati in Assam.
This is the second flight service to Pasighat from Guwahati after Alliance Air had started direct flight services between Guwahati-Pasighat in 2018.
