ITANAGAR: Heavy downpour in Arunachal Pradesh capital Itanagar has once again created havoc among citizens.
Many prime locations of the capital witnessed heavy flood on the main four lane highway due to improper drainage system.
Reportedly, public on social media has been condemning the highway authority and the State government over the 'pathetic' quality of road and 'negligence' over proper drainage system in the highway.

"It becomes really difficult to work in a situation like this. There is flood everywhere. It's really difficult as well as risky to ride a two wheeler on a flood road like this," said a local delivery boy expressing his displeasure.
The culvert which got washed away earlier in June resulting in landslide near the D- Sector has further damaged the private buildings nearby.
The citizens of the capital city has been facing the issue of flood since quite some time.
The locals are blaming the flawed construction of the highway as there is no proper drainage system to absorb flood water during Monsoon.
