The Congress party has released the fourth list of candidates who will contest the ensuing Lok Sabha elections in a bid to re-establish itself as the biggest political powerhouse in the country.
The battle in the Northeast is expected to be a nail biting-affair as the Congress will take on the BJP’s NEDA allies in the region and Arunachal Pradesh, where the party will field Nabam Tuki (Arunachal West) and James Lowangcha Wanglet (Arunachal East) is expected to be a key battleground state in the region. Public dissatisfaction at the Pema Khandu-led Government is at an all-time high in the state in light of the PRC protests which rocked the region and public will perhaps see this election as an opportunity for a change in Governance.
