Guwahati, February 7, 2019:

Ninong Ering, East Arunachal Pradesh Lok Sabha constituency representative, who has been responsible for ushering in many developmental projects to his state, has shown his concern for his people yet again.

The Minister has written to Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari, urging him to connect East Arunachal Pradesh through a network of roadways.

Following a discussion at the Lok Sabha where the issue was discussed, he brought up the construction of a road from Pasighat in East Siang District to Dari (West Siang) via Koyu in Lower Siang District.

Mr. Ering while expressing his gratitude for assurance regarding construction of the road, stated that its construction will enable people from East Arunachal to travel during ‘bandhs’ in Assam and added that the construction of the Pasighat-Ledum-Dari road will be a boon to all people in the eastern part of Arunachal Pradesh.

Further, he encouraged the Union Minister to take up the matter of the road construction during the fiscal year.

Mr. Ering was in the spotlight yesterday as he met PM Narendra Modi to demand the scrapping of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016.
