As the 2019 Lok Sabha election approaches, there is much speculation regarding who will contest the two Lok Sabha constituencies in Arunachal Pradesh.
While it is all but certain that the Arunachal West constituency election shall be contested between Union Minister Kiren Rijiju representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and state Congress President Takam Sanjoy, there is still a lot of uncertainty regarding the Congress candidature in the Arunachal East constituency.
Tapir Gao is expected to represent the BJP party, but as per highly reliable sources, serving MP Ninong Ering, in all probability, will not be contesting the election. Instead, the name of Kaling Lego is being floated as the possible candidate from Congress party who will challenge Gao.
Is it to be mentioned that the 'Buddhist' and 'non-Buddhist' cards will play a crucial role in the Arunachal Pradesh Lok Sabha elections this time around.
