NSCN-IM shoots dead NPP supporter in Arunachal Pradesh

Guwahati, March 30, 2019:

In a truly shocking incident before the beginning of the Lok Sabha elections, members of the secessionist outfit Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagalim-Isaak Muivah (NSCN-IM) have allegedly shot dead a supporter of the National People’s Party (NPP). This sensational incident occurred at West Khona Constituency of Tirap district in Arunachal Pradesh.

It is believed that two supporters of the NPP were abducted by the militants due to their affiliation with the Conrad Sangma-led party.

Zeli Anna, one of the NPP workers, was shot dead by the militants, while the other civilian was also grievously injured.

The injured civilian has been admitted to Dibrugarh Medical College Hospital in Assam.
