ITANAGAR: Controversial YouTuber Paras Singh, who was apprehended after making allegedly 'racist' remarks against Arunachal Pradesh, has said that he will make a video highlighting the culture of Arunachal Pradesh as the people

Singh, who was in judicial custody in the state,

">told Arunachal Mirror that he loved the cuisine and culture of Arunachal and loved to dig into the ethnic specials. Singh said that he also consumed bamboo shoots for the first time in Arunachal and he loved it!

He also revealed that he learned a lot from the people he met in Arunachal during his stay here.

Asked about his advice to Arunachalees, he said: "People should promote their own place and launch their own campaigns about the places in Arunachal. This will be beneficial as tourists will come."

Singh further added that the indigenous people of Arunachal Pradesh should also publicize their customs and festivals so as to make their state more appealing to outsiders.

"Initially, people were never a bit angry but they started becoming a bit understanding after they learned their story. It was never my intention to do this. But it happened to me by mistake, because of which I am absolutely mortified

Singh also revealed that he talked to Ninong Ering, the MLA that he had poked fun of as 'Chinese', via video conferencing.

"Sir treated me like his own son. He said that I am like his son and his grand son's age. I was ashamed that I had said such things about this man. I reacted like many others in the heat of the moment but how I reacted was really bad. He urged me not to make similar mistakes again and said that he would take up my release with the Centre," Singh said.

After going back home, Singh said, he will meet his mother and dog "who has not eaten in two days."

It needs mention here that the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court here granted bail to Singh on Friday.

The court allowed Singh's plea for bail on the execution of a personal bond of Rs 10,000 and a set of other conditions, including not permitting him to leave the country.

The YouTuber was also asked to stay away from interfering into the investigation process.
