RAPE AND MURDER ACCUSED LYNCHED IN ARUNACHAL

In a sensational incident, two rape accused were allegedly dragged out of a local police station and beaten to death by an angry mob in the main market area of Tezu in Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh. The duo was arrested from Tengapani tea garden area on February 18. The two accused Sanjay Sobor and Jagdish Lohar were arrested by the police on charge of the rape and murder of a five year old girl in Namgo village on February 12. Today villagers of wakro gathered and took out both the accused from police custody and lynched them to death. The five year old rape victim was missing since February 12 and later her body was recovered near a tea- garden later.

It may be mentioned that a similar incident took place in Dimapur in Nagaland in the year 2015 where an angry mob of around ten thousand stormed into the Dimapur jail and later lynched him.
