Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu emphasized the importance of unity and teamwork during the victory celebration of Nyabi Jini Dirchi, the first woman MLA from the Galo community, in the Basar assembly constituency.
Addressing a gathering of thousands, including BJP supporters and dignitaries from his government, CM Khandu urged party members to set aside their differences as the elections are over and focus on strengthening the party and serving the people collectively.
The Basar constituency recently witnessed a fierce electoral contest between BJP's Nyabi Jini Dirchi and NPP candidate Gokar Basar. The celebration marked a historic moment as Dirchi took center stage as a trailblazer for the Galo community.
In her address, MLA Nyabi Jini Dirchi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to CM Khandu, acknowledging his unwavering commitment to the development of Leparada district. "The people of Leparada deeply admire your leadership and dedication. From the establishment of the district headquarters to the inauguration of the Todak Basar District Hospital, you have continuously prioritized our well-being," she stated.
The newly inaugurated Todak Basar District Hospital stands as a tribute to the late Shri Todak Basar, a visionary leader and a key figure in the development of both the district and Arunachal Pradesh. Dirchi lauded the naming of the hospital in his honor, describing it as a fitting testament to his legacy.
She further highlighted the government’s tireless efforts to improve healthcare services, calling the new hospital a significant gift to the people of the Galo belt and beyond. "This initiative showcases the administration's commitment to ensuring quality healthcare for all," Dirchi added.
The grand celebration saw a galaxy of MLAs and ministers from CM Khandu's government come together to commemorate this milestone. The event not only reflected the spirit of victory but also underscored the collective vision for Leparada's progress and prosperity.
