Hayeng Mangfi, MLA of Chayangtajo and Advisor to the Minister of Water Resources, contributed 60 CGI sheets to assist in rebuilding efforts. The local ADC of East Kameng district has also extended support to the affected family.
Chairman Honipa highlighted the extent of the family's loss, which included valuable local ornaments and livestock such as mithun, pigs, and goats. He emphasised the need for preventive measures to avoid future incidents and expressed gratitude to all contributors for their timely assistance.
"Our society will work for one and all in the need of hour according to our capacity," Honipa stated, underlining the community's commitment to mutual support in times of crisis.
