In a major push for digital governance and citizen-centric service delivery, Keyi Panyor District in Arunachal Pradesh has officially launched ‘Keyi Panyor Suvidha,’ a WhatsApp-based service platform aimed at providing seamless access to essential government services.
The initiative was unveiled in the presence of key dignitaries, including the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Circle Officer, ZPC, ZPM, and all Heads of Departments.
The joint effort by the District Administration and District Police aims to reduce bureaucratic delays and ensure easy accessibility of various services to the residents of the newly formed district.
Through ‘Keyi Panyor Suvidha,’ citizens can now avail services such as Police Character Certificate, Police NOC for Tender, Birth Certificate, Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) Certificate, Inner Line Permit, Income Certificate, and many more—directly from their mobile phones via WhatsApp.
Speaking at the launch event, Deputy Commissioner Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta (IAS) underscored the significance of digital interventions in streamlining public service delivery.

She stated, “This initiative will make governance more citizen-centric, reducing the need for people to make multiple visits to the DC office for basic services. It marks a shift towards a more transparent and efficient administration.”
Superintendent of Police Angad Mehta (IPS) highlighted the transformative role of technology in governance, particularly in a newly formed district like Keyi Panyor. “The district is facing several administrative challenges in its initial phase, and digital solutions like this will play a crucial role in ensuring quick and efficient service delivery,” he added.
The WhatsApp-based service is expected to significantly reduce paperwork, expedite administrative processes, and enhance transparency. Citizens can simply send a message saying “Hi” to 9405456923 to access various government services without the need for physical visits to government offices.
District authorities have urged all residents to take full advantage of this platform, which represents a significant step toward making governance more inclusive, efficient, and accessible for all.
