The Arunachal Pradesh Chakma Students' Union (APCSU) organised a bike rally in eastern Arunachal Pradesh to celebrate India's 78th Independence Day.
The event, part of the nationwide 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, brought together diverse groups from across the region.
Participants from various communities, regardless of caste, creed, or political affiliation, joined the rally. The procession began at Diyun General Ground and travelled through several local areas before returning to its starting point.
APCSU President Drishyamuni Chakma emphasised the importance of patriotism among youth. "This rally honours those who sacrificed for our country," Chakma said. "It's crucial for young people to understand their role as responsible citizens in shaping India's future."
The event was inaugurated by local officials, including Extra Assistant Commissioner NL Naam and representatives from the 11 Assam Rifles. Students, community leaders, and residents of Diyun Circle actively participated in the rally.
