18-Year-Old Girl Found Dead in Assam's Dima Hasao

Umrangso, January 21, 2019:

In 15 Kilo area that falls under the Umrangso Police Station in Dima Hasao district of Assam, the body of an 18-year-old teenaged girl, Hongchungloi Khelma, who was allegedly murdered, was recovered by locals earlier today.

"Yesterday, at around 9 pm, the young girl had gone out to the bathroom...however, she did not return home. Her family waited for her, but she did not come.. Next morning, some locals stumbled across her body, which was nearby.. Wound marks were found on her neck, although it is unclear what caused them. Now, people are suspecting foul play....they fear murder, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem...this shocking incident has sent ripples across the locality...now, people are waiting for the report", a Dima Hasao resident told Inside Northeast.

According to reports, the dead body was discovered by the locals at around 10 am in the morning today, not too far away from her residence.
