19-Year-Old Assam Girl Stranded in Bengaluru Commits Suicide

Bangalore, April 7, 2020:

Proving once again that the coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent lockdown is taking a toll on the mental health of the Indian citizens, it has now come to the fore that a 19-year-old girl from Lakhimpur district has committed suicide in Bengaluru.

The girl in question, Lopamudra Neog, was found dead in her Bengaluru apartment, sources said. It is not known why the teenager committed suicide.
