In a recent development, 30 Bangladeshi nationals have been deported to Bangladesh on Thursday who had entered India illegally and served their due punishment.
The 30 Bangladeshi nationals were lodged in various detention camps in Assam. They were deported back through Sutarkandi under Karimganj-Bangladesh border in Assam.
Among these migrants, two were lodged in central jail of Kokrajhar, Goalpara, Tezpur and Jorhat.

It may be mentioned that out of the 30 Bangladesh nationals there are three females, Asma Begam of Mymensingh (37), Saleha Akhtar (23) of Comilla and Suchitra Biswas (43) of Netrokona district of that country. While the rest are- Mazahar Molla (40) of Faridpur, Saddam Hossain (22) of Kurigram, Fazar Ali Molla (37) of Pabna, Azbahar Piyada (65) of Shakhira, Kartik Chandra Shil (40) of Comilla, Younis Ali (35) of Nator, Ariful Hakim (38) of Coxbazaar, Mohin Ali (37) of Comilla, Asish Das (51) of Chittagong, Abul Khayer (30 ) of Comilla, Jahangir Alam (38) of Dinajpur, Abdul Kalam Molla (48) of Khulna, Abul Kasem (50) of Netrokona, Laxman Chakraborty (27) of Sunamganj, Jahanur Alam (39) of Panchgarh, Abdul Kuddus (45) of Sylhet, Nurul Amin (30) of Khagrachari, Chand Mia (49) of Jamalpur, Illias Ahmed (30) of Panchagarh, Nur Mohammad Gazi (55) of Chandpur, Nurul Alam (32) of Coxbazaar, Abdul Kalam Azad (34) of Bogra, Wahidul Haque (38) of Brahmanbaria, Saidur Rehman (53) of Singra, Mohammad Javed (48) of Comilla, and Mohammad Abdulla (46) of Chuadanga.
