Kokrajhar, April 25, 2019:

Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Hagrama Mohilary on Thursday addressed the media at the Bathow Complex in Kokrajhar town after the conclusion of the Lok Sabha election in the state on 23 April.

"Our alliance partners (AGP and BJP) will win ten to twelve seats in total...not below ten, at least ten", sad Hagrama, expressing optimism before the counting begins on 23 May.

Responding to reports of vote division, he said: "Vote division is bound to happen...UPPL is there, Hira Sarania is there, Congress is always there. But we are winning despite vote division", he said.

"Hira Sarania's calculations are not predicting a win, Urkhao Gwra Brahma too is not finding a way to victory. They have all gone silent", Hagrama said.

Making election prediction, he said: "Hira Sarania will get 4 lakh plus votes, U G Brahma will get 3 lakh plus votes, Congress will get three lakh plus votes, BPF will get over five lakh votes and win", he said.
