8 persons taken into police custudy in relation to Demow blast

Demow, November 23:

Following the demow blast, eight suspected persons were taken into the police custody on Friday

The accused have been identified as Pankaj Bora, an employee of the deceased’s hardware shop, Prabhat Kahnikar, Nitul Hazarika, Kishore Patel, Jiyarul Hussain, Bedanta Nath, Tangbhiu and Izzal.

It may be mentioned that a bomb explosion took place on Thursday in Demow taking the lives of two civilians. Kamal Agarwal, owner of the hardware shop  and a customer Anup Gupta lost their lives in the incident.
