In the wake of this loss, Shital's mother, Ambika Sarkar, moved with him to her elder brother's home. There, she took on household chores to support the family.

Despite these overwhelming difficulties, Shital remained steadfast in his resolve to succeed. He committed himself to his studies and prepared both physically and mentally for future opportunities. His dedication paid off when he gained admission to Agneevir, a prestigious training institute. Completing his training with unwavering commitment, Shital achieved his dream of joining the Indian Army, marking a moment of immense pride for him and his community.
