AANA CALLS OFF ITS AGITATION

Guwahati, November 30, 2018:

Considering the problems faced by the patients in the past few days, the All Assam Nurses’ Association (AANA) has decided to call off the agitation they started.

The AANA members informed that the agitating nurses were called for a meeting by Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Pijush Hazarika, along with Principal Secretary of Health & Family Welfare department, Samir Kumar Sinha but they didn’t turn up.

They also said to have arranged for a meeting with the state government on December 4.

The All Assam Nurses’ Association (AANA) took out a state-wide indefinite protest demanding same salary of the Staff Nurse Service rule for staff nurse from last Monday.
