ABMSU leader allays fears over non-inclusion of names in NRC draft

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 25, 2018:

In a significant move, All BTC Minority Students’ Union (ABMSU) general secretary Shahkamal Khandkar has allayed any kind of fear over non-inclusion of names in the complete NRC draft published on 30^th July.

Claiming that 80% of Assam’s population have already been included in the draft, the ABMSU general secretary remarked that those whose names have not been included need not worry as they could reapply for inclusion with proper documents in the final NRC to be published later.

He also denied allegation levelled by one Majharul Haque that his name was excluded from the complete NRC draft due submission of false documents.
