Guwahati, March 22, 2019:

The newly formed Adivasi National Party Assam (ANPA) has joined the Regional Democratic Alliance (RDA). With this development, RDA has become 4-party strong: Liberal Democratic Party (LPD), Asom Sangrami Mancha (ASM), Autonomous State Demand Committee (ASDC), and now Adivasi National Party Assam (ANPA).

The ANPA, which was formed in January 2019, is led by Bijoy Tiru as President and Biren Mirdha as Working President.

It is to be mentioned that the RDA has been created to promote federalism and to safeguard the interests of the downtrodden people of Assam.
