Interacting with media on the third day of the budget session, the MLA said that since the first day of the assembly, Gogoi has been the target of personal attacks and slurs.

The Raijol Dol MLA had said that both BJP and AIUDF are communal parties and they work only for the welfare of the respective communities they revere.
According to the AIUDF legislator, Gogoi also said that both BJP and AIUDF are threats to Assam.
"How could he put us and BJP on the same line?", he questioned.
"Gogoi said that we are communal and we work only for the welfare of the Muslim community. Is AKhil Gogoi Muslim? He isn't. Yet I supported him", stated the MLA.
"When Akhil Gogoi was being rebuked in the Assembly and even when the Chief Minister laughed at him for not being able to use the devices properly, it was me who supported him", he said.
The MLA said that he sat with him and explained the mechanism of the devices personally to Gogoi so that the opposition do not get any opportunity to make fun of him in the Assembly.
What is trying to say by calling us 'communal'. We only think about the welfare of the Muslim Community and not bother about other communities.
The legislator added that Gogoi cannot deny the fact in spite of belong to AIUDF, he stood for Gogoi.
"He is all alone with no support from any other MLA. We were the only ones to support him, yet he called us communal. It is extremely disheartening", added the legislator.
