'Anjan Dutta Foundation' Awards Education Scholarship to 14 Meritorious Students

Guwahati, September 1, 2019:

The 'Anjan Dutta Foundation' has selected 14 meritorious students for its prestigious education scholarship.

Launched in memory of the former Congress President, Late Anjan Dutta, the organisation aims to provide financial aid to the needy students.

The scholarship has been given to the selected students purely on the basis of their merit and financial requirement. It is to be noted that this is the first time that the Anjan Dutta Foundation has initiated this step to support the needy.

Dutta had earlier initiated an annual scholarship for students in memory of his parents, Late Thaneswar Dutta and Anjali Dutta.

The Anjan Dutta Foundation was launched by the late Congressman’s family to continue with the political leader’s motive to help the underprivileged. It has taken up a number of positive initiatives to serve the society.

In 2018, the foundation launched ‘Eri Oha Dinbur’, the autobiography of the departed leader.
