The troops of Chirang based Army unit of Red Horns Division arranged a medical camp under Operation Sadbhavana on 24 October at the remote village Nangalbhanga with an aim to give the medical assistance and to spread health awareness .
With a team of five doctors from different disciplines ,which included three Army Doctors along with the paramedic staff and nursing staff and also there was a special team for Leprosy, Malaria & Tuberculosis department, they provided the services in the camp.
Essential medicines for illness in that particular area was distributed which turned up for the medical camp in vast number.
The nearby villages and a total number of 769 persons which included ladies and children of Nangalbhanga (Kaila Maila) were benefitted by this medical camp .The people at the camp showed their respect and kindness,this increased the faith and confidence in the Army and their worthy capabilities.
A total 769 persons including ladies and children of Nangalbhanga (Kaila Maila) and nearby villages got benefitted from the medical camp and they expressed their heartfelt gratitude for conducting the camp. The overwhelming reply from the people is an indication of increased faith and confidence in the Army and its noble initiatives.
