Accoland, the largest water amusement park of the Northeast located on the outskirts of Guwahati, was sealed for an indefinite period on Tuesday by the Kamrup (Metro) district authorities.
Multiple anomalies as regards the park’s maintenance were detected recently during a raid by the district officials. Among factors that went wrong for the park was the standard of its water.
Speaking to InsideNe, Kamrup (Metro) Deputy Commissioner Virendra Mittal said the district administration had ordered to seal the park for an indefinite period as almost all reports regarding the park’s water samples from different departments, including health and PWD and others, were negative.
