ASSAM: ANYBODY FOUND GUILTY WON'T BE SPARED: DGP

Director General of Police,  Kuladhar Saikia addressing a press meet thanked the mass and the media for being cooperative in their thorough investigation of the culprits in the spine-chilling mob lynching in Dokmoka. He stated that a senior official has been appointed for an all round report of the incident. Forwarding the number of arrested in the case to be 28, he stated that from primary investigation it was man named Alphajoz Timung who actually instigated the violence informing the mob of the fake news of Abhijeet Nath and Nilotpal Das to be child abductors.

He also stated that the cellphones of the arrested have been ceased to trace the associates with the matter. He also informed that around 35 people have been arrested for flaring up violence through hate posts in social media. He also announced that anybody found spreading messages which would breach the peace and harmony would be held . He informed that they would also ask the judiciary to take the matter to fast track courts for speedy justice of the deceased. Saikia also informed about the social media sites of the executives for the mass to get directly in contact with them for conveying necessary information.
