ASSAM: ASSAM POLICE RECOVERS ONE HOSTAGE

In a search operation led by Assam Police in Guma Reserve Forest under Gossaigaon police station based on technical analysis and information provided by various sources successfully recovered one hostage who was kidnapped on 8th June by some NSLA (AT) Cadres led by its charirman Apil Murmu who engaged a lady to call the victim to her house at Satyapur village under Gosaigaon police station to perform puja.

The victim is identified as Shivaji Lal Deo son of LT. Devanji Lal Deo from Bihar. The victim was recovered from Sakam Nala (Guma Reserve Forest) around 5 km west of village Satyapur.

The search party of police also nabbed one kidnapper identified as Soleman Soren (47) son of Lt Munchi Soren of Boro Badha, while the others fled away and disappeared in the dense forest. The police also recovered three bicycles, one Khukuri, one steel jug, one plastic jerking, one gamosa, two plastic sheets, two mosquito nets, one long pant, one track suit, one shawl, one chain, four locks and one steel tiffin.

Further investigation is going on regarding the case and the victim was safely brought to Gossaigaon police station with proper medical examination.
