A moment to cherish for the Assamese People.

Nang Monti Rajkhowa hailing from Assam set a proud moment for the State and Country as she scaled the world’s third highest mountain in the world Mt. Kanchenjunga on May 20. She is the first Assamese to scale the Everest.

Monti Rajkhowa is the Executive Engineer of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), and she is the first lady officer to summit Kanchenjunga. ONGC’s comprising of five member named Nirmal Kumar, Pankaj Joshi, Monty Rajkhowa, Palkesh G Kalma and Gaurav Kaidan had set off for the expedition and finally reached the peak and on May 20. Nang Monti Rajkhowa has set an example as nothing is impossible if one sets their goals.
