The Assam executive meeting of the Scheduled Tribe (ST) morcha of BJP has begun from Tuesday at Kokrajhar Govt HS &. MP Scholar playground with two day programe scheduled in Kokrajhar.
The state executive meeting of the ST morcha discussed on the welfare and development aspects of the tribal peoples of the state.
Over 500 members and delegates from 39 district committees of the state are participating the ST morcha session.
On the first day today, BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass hoisted party flag followed by floral tribute to Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma,former ABSU president and offered prayer and worship to the Bathow Thanshali in the session venue.

On Wednesday, chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal will be attending the state executive meeting.
Dass said that the state ST morcha was organised in Kokrajhar which saw a grand participation from different districts.He said that ST morcha was working for the welfare and development of the ST peoples.He said that BJP party has been working for the deep integration and welfare aspects among the scheduled tribes in the state.
In the evening,Assam health minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma is attending the session.
"Satyaranjan Bora is not holding any position within BJP party and his remarks are not belong to the saffron party," said Dass.
Bora was former member of BJP Kishan morcha,but now not hold any position in the party.
He said that BJP wants BTR election as soon as possible either in December or earliest and his party fully prepared for the council elections.
"BJP has been contesting in 27 seats in BTR election.BPF also contesting separately in the council elections.
Both parties had contested separately in Panchayat elections in the state',Dass added.
Assam health minister and NEDA convenor Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma while addressing the ST morcha session said that BJP will form BTR government with winning majority seats in the ensuing BTR elections.
Dr Sarma said that the BTR election is going to be held in December next where several parties are contesting the council elections. He said that BJP will form BTR government with winning majority seats.
" BJP is intact alliance with BJP BPF AGP in the state and BJP party is contesting alone in BTR election", said Dr Sarma.
He said BJP has has been dedicating bold initiative to make uplift of the state in days to come.
BJP party always want massive Parivartan and welfare aspects among all sections of the society and accordingly BTR also getting massive development in the region.
He said that BJP party has been maintaining good integration in the state to pave the way deep development.
Dr Sarma has also offered prayer and worship services to the Bathow Thanshali and paid homage to Bodofa Upgrades Nath Brahma in the session venue.
