Senior Journalist Adip Phukan’s reaction on Mass Satyagraha

Speaking to InsideNE, Senior Journalist Adip Phukan stated that the Assam BJP Government has undergone Parachute Politics that follows the directives of the Delhi High Command. He added that the BJP is following RSS policy of Hindutva Vadi which should be stopped and shall not divide the state as Hindu-Muslim. Moreover, when asked about the census report of Assamese language he mentioned that by 2021 the percentage of Assamese will decrease to 40% and the Bengali will increase to more than 41% if the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 gets enacted relating to the census report of prevalence of Assamese language in the state. He states that the Chief Minister of Assam should now take a stand against in such critical situation.
