Teen cricketing sensation Riyan Parag's skill was on display again on Thursday at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, where the 18-year-old scored a crucial 31-ball 47 in Rajasthan's three-wicket win over the Kolkata Knight Riders as the Rajasthan boys overhauled the target of 176 with four balls to spare.
Rajasthan got off to a solid start in the run-chase but the pressure was back on the middle-order once Steve Smith and Ben Stokes were removed cheaply. It was then Parag, who took charge and looked set to take his team over the line, if not for the unfortunate hit-wicket dismissal to Andre Russell.
So far in IPL 2019, Parag has featured in four matches and scored 110 runs at an average of 27.5.
