GUWAHATI: In the series of events on occasion of upcoming BSF raising days, today, the Brass and Jazz Band of Border Security Force, Guwahati Frontier displayed a symphony of martial music at Lachhit Monument Machhkhawa, Guwahati.
The music of BSF Band uplifted the moral of audience through their music which is flavoured with patriotic fervour. It gave opportunity to audience at Lachhit Monument, Machhkhawa, Guwahati to witness and experience the rich music, steeped in tradition and history of the force.
In the evening the surrounding area of Machhkhawa filled with reverberation of drum beats, trumpets as the Bands gave a symphonic display of martial music. The audience also enjoyed the BSF theme song “Hum seema ke Prahari hain- hum seena taan khade- bharat ke har praant se aye- bahaduron ka dal- Hum Hain Seema Suraksha Bal” played by BSF Brass and Jazz Band in a wonderful tuning with heart touching lyrics. A fascinated dog show by BSF canine sentinels resulted in never ending applause and standing ovation from the audience.
The show was attended by all Officers, Subordinate officers and Jawans of BSF, Composite Hospital, 1st Bn NDRF Guwahati & BSF Air Base Guwahati and their families. Media person and civilians appreciated the event and applauded Seema Praharis for their efforts towards nation building.
The show culminated with the best wishes extended by Sh Sanjay Singh Gehlot IG BSF FTR HQ to local civilians of Guwahati.
