Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force seized 4000 Nos of Yaba tablets and 04 Kg Ganja on 14th May 2020, from bordering area of village Jagrachar, Police Station – Mankachar, Dist –South Salmara (Assam).

On 14th May 2020 at about 0150 hrs, BSF troops of Border Out Post (BOP) Sadartilla, Ex-06 BN BSF, Police Station –Mankachar, Dist –South Salmara (Assam) seized 4000 Nos of Yaba tablets and 04 Kg Ganja on Indo-Bangladesh International border, while the consignment was being tried to be thrown over the fence from India to Bangladesh.

Seized items have been handed over to PS-Mankachar for further legal action.

Keeping in view the vulnerability of border, heightened activities of the smugglers and anti-national elements on the border, BSF troops are always alert towards the issues of trans-border crimes & illegal infiltration and are making all out efforts to prevent commission of such crimes.
