1st round of meeting for Assam CM ends; Himanta, Sonowal sits for 2nd round with BJP central leadership

NEW DELHI: The first round of meeting between CM aspirants Sarbananda Sonowal, Himanta Biswa Sharma and BJP central parliamentary board held at the residence BJP national president JP Nadda has ended.

Union home minister Amit Shah, JP Nadda and BJP national secretary BL Santosh were present in the meeting.

The BJP central leadership held meetings with both Himanta and Sonowal separately.

After the first round was over, Sarma arrived at Nadda's residence for the second round of meeting.

Both Sonowal and Himanta are present in the second round of meeting.
