DHUBRI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited various places of Dhubri District with honourable minister Ranjeet Kumar Das on Wednesday to observe the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja.
The Chief Minister offer Puja at historic Mahamaya Temple at Bagribari and visited various puja mandaps at Dhubri suburbs, Gauripur, Bilasipara, Paglahat and Tamarhat area.
The CM visited Matiabug Palace at Gauripur and interact with the members of the Royal Family.
HE also visited various ongoing Government Project sites importantly the ongoing work of Dhubri Medical College.
Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, before leaving Dhubri on Thursday morning he visited the historic Gurudwara Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji which is located in the heart of Dhubri on the bank of the mighty river Brahmaputra, which holds great spiritual importance for the Sikh community.
