SIVASAGAR: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reiterated his warning to make police stations corruption free.

The Chief Minister met with the police officers of Sivasagar and Charaideo district in the review meeting at the Commissioner's office of Sivasagar.

During the meeting the Chief Minister took stock about the law and order situation of both districts in details.

He further gave some special instructions to make the police stations corruption free.

"We urge to maintain coordination between the Commissioner, Superintendent of Police and the joint director of health services and to focus on the direction of harassment of the common people in any way. We also give instructions to take timely action against police and certificate verification", said the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister has been giving repeated warning to people against harassment of common people.

In recent times, Sarma has shown sternness regarding any kind of atrocities afflicted on common public.

During his visit, the Chief Minister also inaugurated an oxygen PSA plant at Swargadew Siu-ka-pha Multi-Speciality Hospital and Siu-ka-pha Sanjeevani’ scheme. This scheme will facilitate the hospitals with 100 O2 concentrators which will be made available for post COVID ailments.
