KOKRAJHAR: Many members of the former BLT (Bodo Liberation Tigers) welfare society have slammed the Bodoland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD) administration and governments for depriving them of welfare as well as ex-gratia after being part of the historic the BTC (Bodoland Territorial Council) accord in 2003. The Council -- comprising the districts of Kokrajhar, Baksa, Udalguri, and Chirang -- came into existence after the signing of the historic Accord.

A joint meeting of ex Bodo Liberation Tigers members from four districts of BTC was held at Elashijhar in Kokrajhar district today where hundreds of former BLT leaders held discussions on their due arrears of ex gratia and some other welfare aspects.
