Assam: Ex-Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna appointed Chairman of AERC

GUWAHATI: Kumar Sanjay Krishna, 1985 cadre IAS officer, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission for 5 years. Notably, he was the Chief Secretary of Assam till October of 2020. Sanjay Krishna has been succeeded by 1988 batch IAS officer Jishnu Baruah,who took over on October 31.
