The continuous rainfall in lower Assam worsened the situation in the Chirang district of BTAD, in which the villagers are suffering and residing in some parts of Amguri PS area. Moreover the heavy rainfall has over flown the Aie River leading a massive loss to the lives of the villagers residing near the river banks. The water entered in the household of the residents making it impossible to live in their homes.
The local village residents stated that if the rain doesn't stop and Aie River keeps overflowing then they will be forced to stay at relief camp.
