Reportedly, the panel is yet to decide on the ranking system that used to be followed earlier.

The committee has assured that the decisions will be taken in the interest of the students and hence advised them to not lose hope or give up.

The panels further stated that the evaluation procedure of students belonging to Arts, Science, Commerce stream will be different.

The Assam government had canceled Class 10 and 12 board exams owing to the COVID-19 situation in the state.

The decision was taken in meeting in the presence of the state education Minister and other stakeholders after the Health department suggested to not conduct examinations.

The results will be announced by July 31.

This comes after the Assam cabinet recommended to not hold offline board exams.
