Assam: Former MLA Candidate Arrested for 'Fraud'

Kokrajhar, September 19, 2019:

Alok Sen, a former MLA candidate from Assam, has been arrested for carrying out fraudulent activities.

49-year-old Sen has been apprehended today at Kokrajhar by Kokrajhar Police and Guwahati Police. According to the authorities, he is wanted in many cheating cases.

Two more have been nabbed in relation to the case.

It may be mentioned here that Alok Sen contested the polls as an MLA candidate representing the NCP in 2011 and 2016 elections from Mariani or Titabor Constituency.
