IS ASSAM GOVERNMENT RIDING IN THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF CENTRAL GOVERNMENT?

Okay now to break all the fuss, we are here referring to a speech made by the Honorable Chief Minister of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal. The Chief Minister was all in praise for the State and the Central Government while addressing the public at the Yuva Morcha of Bharatiya Janata Party at Kalakshetra in Guwahati. He spoke lengths on the achievements of the Central Government and the schemes perpetuated by it. He spoke out loud that the schemes of the Central Government should be widely spread across the state. He stated with pride that his government has been able to reach milestones due to sheer diligence and unity by encompassing the feeling of brotherhood.

However he had little to say of its own initiatives and ventures. He laid greater emphasis on abstract issues rather than stating any concrete step if undertaken by the state Government. However he did not fall short of words to slam the former government of the state.He stated that the previous government in the state ruled on the ‘Divide and rule’ policy. The Chief Minister also stated that they are positive enough to win seats from 27 constituencies of the Northeastern states.

However 2019 Lok Sabha elections will be a deciding factor to justify the glorification and proclamation made by the Chief Minister.
