ASSAM: GOVERNOR MUKHI ATTENDS MEETING WITH SECURITY FORCES IN KOKRAJHAR

Assam Governor Professor Jagdish Mukhi attended a meeting with security forces in Kokrajhar on Thursday.

The meeting was attended among others by Bodoland Territorial Areas District (BTAD) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Anurag Agarwal, Kokrajhar Superintendent of Police Rajen Singh, Deputy Commissioner Niranjan Barua and officers of the Army and paramilitary forces.

Later, the Governor visited the Kokrajhar Science College and interacted with the principal and the students. He also visited the Kokrajhar RNB Hospital and the Kokrajhar police station.

Later, he paid a visit to the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) secretariat and held a meeting with BTC executive members, MCLA, principal sector and BTC officials.
